I did not grow up in an entrepreneurial family. Growing up I was told to go to college and get a degree then get a corporate job. However, after experiencing corporate America, I realized I wanted more control over my life. I didn't want to continue to be underpaid, micromanaged, underappreciated and have to deal with all the corporate politics. I wanted more passive income, pursue personal passions and time with my family. Starting a business was exactly what I wanted in order to create the life I wanted. I remember how I felt back in 2008 when the stock market crashed. I was a college kid then and I saw my friends graduating with no job opportunities. I saw my loved ones lose their jobs and their homes. At that point I realized how much I didn’t know about money. And how scared I was to live a life of uncertainty. I attended a financial seminar that taught basic financial principles that should’ve been taught to us in school. The confidence I felt after learning what I needed to do to gain financial control and the impact it has had on our family, I knew that we wanted to help others do the same; because this is somewhere I can make a difference.
With NO experience in this industry, I started part time, had hands‐on training and, because of this business, I was able to never have to work someone else. I became increasingly passionate in what I was doing and being able to help others create freedom in their life was incredible! Being an entrepreneur has allowed me to have complete freedom and flexibility to put my family first and still be able to grow a thriving business. Becoming my own boss was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I look forward to discussing this possibility with you as well.
